Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Stir in the vanilla extract, then gradually mix in the flour until well combined.
- Fold in the semisweet chocolate chips.
- Press the mixture into an ungreased jellyroll pan, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until lightly golden.
- While hot, cut into bars and let cool in the pan.
Notes
For the best texture, cut the bars right out of the oven.
