Ingredients
- 1 cup of salted butter softened
- 1 cup of sugar granulated
- 1 cup brown light sugar packed
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- Half teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon sea salt
- 2 Cups chocolate Chips (14 oz)
Instructions
- Pre-heat your oven to 350degF (190degC). Prepare three baking sheets using parchment paper.
- A medium-sized bowl mix together the baking soda, flour, baking powder, sea salt. Set aside.
- Within a mixing bowl large enough combine with softened butter the granulated sugar as well as light brown sugar, until it becomes light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs, as well as vanilla extract until it is well blended.
- Gradually introduce the dry ingredients into the wet mix, stirring until the mixture is just incorporated.
- Add the chocolate chips, making sure they are evenly distributed across the dough.
- Utilizing a cookie scoop, or your fingers, divide 3 tablespoons of dough per cookie and place them in a uniform manner on the baking sheets you have prepared.
- Bake in the oven preheated for 8-10 minutes or until they’re just barely slightly golden brown around the edges.
- Let to the Chocolate Chip cookie to set on the baking sheets for approximately 5 minutes prior to transfer them to an uncooked wire rack to completely cool.
Notes
Don’t overbake the cookies. They will appear slightly dry when they are removed from the oven.
You can store the cookie dough for up to 2 months for those impulsive cravings!
