1 1/2cupsshredded Cheddar cheese6 oz
2cupsshredded lettuce

Instructions
Cook the Beef: In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat for about 8 to 10 minutes or until the beef is thoroughly cooked. Drain any excess fat.
Season the Meat: Stir in the chili powder, salt, garlic powder, and tomato sauce. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Warm the Taco Shells: While the meat simmers, preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C). Place the taco shells on an ungreased cookie sheet and warm them in the oven for about 5 minutes.
Assemble the Tacos: Spoon the beef mixture into each taco shell. Top with shredded Cheddar cheese, lettuce, and chopped tomatoes.
Serve: Offer thick and chunky salsa and sour cream on the side for everyone to customize their tacos to their liking.
