Instructions
Preheat the oven to 356°F (180°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
In a food processor, combine flour, brown sugar, and cold butter. Pulse until crumbly.
Press the mixture into the prepared pan. Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
Meanwhile, in a saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar, and maple syrup. Heat until melted, bring to a boil, then stir in cream, salt, and pecans.
Pour the topping over the baked crust. Spread evenly and bake for another 20 minutes.
Let cool completely in the pan before slicing into bars.
Notes
You can freeze these bars for up to 3 months. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream for a special treat.
