Ingredients
  

Rotel Dip Base

  • 1 lb ground beef or ground sausage
  • 1 can Rotel tomatoes undrained
  • 1 lb Velveeta cheese cubed
  • 1 tsp chili powder optional

Instructions
 

  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked.
  • Drain excess grease and return the meat to the pan.
  • Add the Rotel tomatoes and Velveeta cheese to the pan.
  • Stir continuously over low heat until the cheese melts and the dip is smooth.
  • Serve immediately with tortilla chips, crackers, or veggies.

Notes

For a spicier dip, add diced jalapeƱos or a splash of hot sauce. Keep the dip warm in a slow cooker for extended serving time.
