Equipment

  • Mixing bowl

Ingredients

Snow Cream Base

  • 8 cups fresh clean snow or crushed ice as an alternative
  • 1 cup milk any kind
  • 1/3 cup granulated white sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch fine sea salt

Optional Toppings

  • edible glitter or sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  • Chill your mixing bowl in the freezer before you start. A cold bowl helps keep the ice cream from melting too quickly.
  • Mix the milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt in the chilled bowl until well combined.
  • Immediately collect fresh, clean snow and stir it into the mixture.
  • Keep stirring until it reaches an ice cream-like consistency.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy! Optional: Add sprinkles or edible glitter for a festive touch.

Notes

For a richer version, you can substitute milk with heavy cream or condensed milk. Always collect fresh snow after at least one hour of snowfall to ensure cleanliness.
